Revenue Milestone

Your MRR read straight from Stripe, as a card to post: the road to your next number, what you added in 30 days, and a ๐Ÿ† when you pass it.

  1. 1Make a read-only Stripe key
  2. 2Paste it with your handle
  3. 3Post your revenue card

Your MRR

Your key is used once to read subscriptions, then dropped: never stored, logged or shared.

Handles are 1โ€“15 characters: letters, numbers, underscore.

How to make a read-only key (1 minute)
  1. In Stripe, open Developers โ†’ API keys and choose Create restricted key.
  2. Name it "YapCard". Set Subscriptions to Read, and leave everything else at None.
  3. Create it, copy the key that starts with rk_live_, and paste it above.
  4. Done with the card? You can delete the key in Stripe any time.

A restricted read key can't charge, refund or change anything. Full secret keys (sk_) are refused.

Good to know. MRR is read from your Stripe subscriptions: each paying subscription's price per month, after its discount, before tax. Trials count once they pay; past-due subscriptions still count, as in Stripe's own MRR. The 30-day change is worked out from when subscriptions started and ended, at today's prices. Several currencies are not converted: the card shows your main one and says so. Your key is never stored. Typed-in numbers aren't checked, so those cards are marked "Self-reported".
